About Sustainability.

My name is Simona. I don’t quite know if I am such a sustainable person regarding the envirnonment that I live in, but I like to help people once in a while and to protect as much as I can the places that I pass through.

In my opinion, to be sustainable doesn’t involve effort or sacrifices, but a bit of education and care about other people and the world that we live in. Is it that hard not to throw garbage on the street or to clean behind us or, if we do not need anymore one thing, to give it to someone else who does?

My experience regarding sustainability is not a rich one. I am just a member of a freecycle group in Timisoara, freecycle Timisoara, where people offer things they don’t use anymore in stead of selling them. There are all sort of tings like mobilephones, furniture, books, electronic stuff and so on. This is something that I haven’t seen since now and is realy amasing! Why don’t this people prefer to sell those things and have some extra money? Well, I think that they are constious about the fact that sometimes we should think about others too and to give our help in any ways we can. My contribution so far is a mobilephone and a while ago I have received a miror for my room :)
